'These people are truly terrified': Gardens homicide shines light on 'gang stalking' mindset

PALM BEACH GARDENS — Semmie Williams was being followed, mocked and sexually assaulted. Everyone was in on it: the store clerk, people in line at homeless shelters. Even the police officer on the corner was out to get him.

That is the life that Williams described in thousands of social-media posts, including videos he filmed to prove the abuse, and that he continued to post until he was arrested in December on charges of killing Ryan Rogers, a teenager from Palm Beach Gardens.
